Termite Problem: One muggy spring afternoon a service technician noticed a swarm of bugs flying around the service counter. Frank Thompson, the owner, was notified of the problem and immediately called a long time business partner at Everett Milberger Pest Control. The flying bugs were easily identified as swarmer termites, ones that search for a place to start a new colony. Mr. Thompson did not like the idea of termites living beneath the service dispatch area, so he asked for the most effective termite treatment available.
Solution: The Sentricon* Termite Colony Elimination System was installed in April of 2000. Termites were no longer present after a month. Due to the large size of the colony elimination was declared in July of 2001. Since the installation there has not been any termite trouble or reoccurrence of swarmers. Mr. Thompson knew that he did not want to have a chemical treatment, which would cause a big disturbance at the dealership. He is very happy with the system and is pleased to know that it works.
Outlook: Mr. Thompson decided to have the Sentricon* System installed as a preventive measure both at his Mitsubishi Dealership and home later that month.
